Kahuna Accounting provides accounting services to small businesses and growth entrepreneurs throughout the United States. We realize traditional accounting and financial reporting for entrepreneur business builders, is not a great fit for most accountants. That is okay because we are looking for individuals who have accounting knowledge and experience and are looking for a fresh environment to continue their professional growth in cloud-based remote accounting!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Performing a combination of routine accounting reconciliations and client projects
•Financial tracking, income statement and balance sheet recons and analysis
•Consistently deliver excellence
The Ideal Candidate:
•Has extensive QBO experience and is willing to learn Xero
•Is extremely detail-oriented
•Has extensive full-cycle small/mid-size business accounting
•Adapts quickly to new technologies and methodologies
•Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Must be able to think strategically and logistically
•Must own your workload independently but also coachable and willing to accept critic and directions
•Believes quality control of financial deliverables to clients is of topmost priority; with experience reviewing and assessing financial data
•Doesn’t need detailed processes to complete a job effectively and efficiently
*College degree is NOT required
