Content creation is an in-demand skill that has the potential to fuel your entire marketing and communications career. Good writers are few and far between – so if you’re one of those gems, you have a world of possibilities open to you.

By working with Cornell Copywriting, you’ll get high-level training from an industry expert that will elevate your writing skills above the competition.

You’ll get hands-on experience writing content for real-world companies. You’ll learn the finer details of SEO and how to make your content a powerful marketing tool. You’ll also learn content marketing strategies that will put you miles ahead of your classmates.

You’ll have the opportunity to write as many pieces as you’d like, as long as the quality of your work remains consistent.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Content Creator include:

  • Researching new topics and distilling down the most valuable information
  • Writing 2-5 blog posts of 600-800 words per month
  • Maximizing the SEO and readability scores of each blog post (you’ll be trained on this in-house)
  • Proofreading and self-editing your work
  • Meeting deadlines (typical turn-around time is 5-10 days after receiving your assignment)

Compensation

This is an independent contractor (1099) position. In your application, please include your requested rate for writing a 600-800 word blog post. A flat per-post rate is required. We do not pay by the hour or by the word.

Compensation will be commensurate with skill. In most cases, we will do our best to accommodate your requested per-post rate.
