Overview

Seeking a bilingual legal assistant to help the attorney manage about 30 cases, both litigation and prelitigation. Standard work schedule is 10am to 2pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Work schedule is flexible but must be during normal business hours (9-5 M-F) and between 10 and 20 hours per week. Work can be done either remotely or hybrid. Computer will not be provided, but supplies and items needed for access will be provided. Microsoft OneDrive is the point of access for workflow.

Key responsibility is gathering records and information needed for each case. This means communicating with clients, doctors, and other offices. The ability to organize, calendar for follow-up communication, and process documents is critical.

Other responsibilities are preparing and sending letters and emails.

Experience with e-file (Odyssey and CMECF) is not required, but would qualify for a pay increase.

Experience with the EEOC portal is not required, but would qualify for a pay increase.

Qualifications
