Who we’re looking for (skills):

  • A PPC Expert that Loves Data and Loves Creating Winning Strategies
  • We work primarily with Water Damage Restoration Companies and have been doing so for over 5 years. You will have immense data at your fingertips to take our current campaigns that perform very well and turn them into something incredible. This role is for people who already consider themselves very well versed in the PPC world.  PPC is the initial strategy that drives leads into the door for our damage restoration clients, so having a strategy in place that starts fast and can drive results from the start is key.
  • Ultimate Ownership & Delegation: Challenges come up and we need someone that can meet those challenges head on, tackle them, and find the solutions. This means meeting deadlines, finding performance solutions, learning skill gaps as needed, and generally taking care of business. You will have a small team underneath you that you can assign to find problems in accounts, fixing conversion issues, initiate testing, all at your direction to get the best possible results.
  • Data Driven: Being able to look at data and having experience in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager are a plus. We’re looking for someone interested in quantifying everything, learning to think in numbers and be open to picking up new tools
  • Process-Oriented: We are big on building processes. You’ll have a bunch of processes and onboarding materials that will guide you to do your job, and then be in a position to contribute to those very processes yourself and build better ones.
  • Bonus: Worked on Accounts in the Water Damage/Mold Removal /Roofing/Construction Industry: Almost all of our clients are Damage Restoration Contractors, so knowing how they operate and their lingo is a plus (but not required)
  • Experience required: You know how to drive (powerful, strategic, beyond fundamental) PPC results. More specifically, you have:
  • 3+ years as a high-level specialist within Google Ads, Bing Ads, Youtube Ads or other advertising platforms
  • Able to problem-solve performance issues across keyword/audience targeting, ad copy, landing pages, and other points for more conversions.
  • Able to identify opportunities by analyzing data and analytics
  • A strong communicator and able to build trust, understanding, and “buy-in” from clients and stakeholders
  • Location: 100% remote, but working normal US work hours. We do not micromanage, but we do require your participation in working with our team online daily and being able to attend regular meetings.
  • Founder is located in St Louis, MO area
  • Clients are located all across the US
  • Work culture: This position will be given a lot of ownership and accountability, mixed with the support of the operations team and your designated PPC Team members. We have minimal meetings each week, and you will not need to speak with clients unless your expertise is extremely needed and warranted. You get to spend most of your days doing REAL PPC WORK!
  • Our work hours are typically your standard 40 hour work week. Core working hours are generally 8:00am to 4:00pm CST, but can be flexible by timezone.
  • Competitive Salary Starting at $65K annually
  • 2 Weeks PTO, plus paid holidays

About the Team: Here’s how the team is structured – and where you’ll fit.

PPC Specialist (you): Manage a set of clients, and all the work that goes into it. Will take the strategy playbook that you create and implement it on accounts.

Digital Manager (Report To): This position oversees the fulfillment team.

Who would NOT want to take this role

A good match for any role requires a great fit between team members and the company. We’re just trying to be upfront in the type of person that just might not work!

It might not be a good fit for you, IF:

  • You want to be told exactly what to do: We have built out initial processes, and generated results, but this role will be expected to take what’s there and get it to the next level. That’s why we’re preaching accountability and taking ownership of the department. If you’re looking for someone to guide you along the way, this may not be a fit for you.
  • You want to stay in your comfort zone: New problems will arise all the time with pay per click advertising. If something isn’t working that worked for you before, you’ll need to test and find something new that works. Testing and solving problems isn’t for everyone!
  • You want a freelance-style work schedule: If your schedule requires high flexibility or you prefer working exclusively in the middle of the night, then this probably isn’t your gig. As a department leader, we need you in the captain’s chair during the normal workday when our clients are working.
  • You are a marketing generalist with only some PPC background: This is a high level manager-level role for someone specialized in PPC advertising. If you’ve only scratched the surface with PPC in your digital marketing career, then your experience may not be what we’re looking for here. Keep expanding your skills!

How We Hire: A Look Inside Our Hiring Process

  • Apply Online: Now that you have found a position that matches your skills and interests, it’s time to apply! You will be asked to submit a video response and answer a few questions about your background.
  • Application Review: If we find that you’re a fit, we will reach out by email to schedule a call with you to learn more about your skills and experience.
  • The Interview process: Our interview process consists of 2 interviews, the first with our owner, and the second with our management team.
  • (Paid) Account Analysis Presentation The final step will be us sharing access to an ad account that could be improved, we want you to put together a short presentation after being given some time to look at it on what you would do to correct issues on the account, how you would approach that account and what you would do differently.
  • You’re in! After the interview process, we will review everything and make a decision as a team. If it’s a great fit, we’ll present you with an offer and review everything on a call. If you accept you’ll be part of the team and begin planning for the onboarding process!
