Overview

          Mainly Remote position but, Must Be Willing to work 2 Days in office.   

 Summary: To offer administrative support to Integrative Medical practice and patients. Board certified Family Medicine MD who is expanding the space of Biohacking, Functional Medicine, Quantum Physics/ Technology, and Preventive Care, seeking new team member to support patients and practice.

Ideally candidate has experience in this field, however will consider motivated people that are inspired by this medicine and science, and have skills in high level concierge service.

 

Office Management Responsibilities

Implement policies and procedures
Answer questions and troubleshoot issues within the office operations
Awareness of laws and guidelines governing medical practice – and or willingness to learn
Ensuring the office is HIPAA compliant (HIPPA involves laws around patient confidentiality)
Complete HIPPA training with CAP (Dr. De Sylvia’s malpractice insurance)
Is pro active in offering solutions to increase efficiency and elevate the level of experience for the patient

Software Management

Computer savvy with multiple office programs and able to learn EMR efficiently

Front Office Responsibilities– will initially train in the front in order to manage and oversee front office, as well as always being willing to jump in and help out when needed, and implement more efficient policies where needed.

Answer phone calls and answer questions accordingly
Respond to patient emails
Schedule Appointments
Supplement Shipments
Ensure all patients have appointments for labs
Create invoices
Receive Payments
Check Patients Out
Screen New Patients
Prepare charts
Liaison between the doctor and patient to ensure all patient questions are answered
Confirmation Calls
Share Labs prior to the appointments
Discuss with patients any inquiries or questions from lab charges or insurance
Continually learning more about Integrative and functional medicine in order to explain the practice, answer patient questions when appropriate, and promote the mission of Whole Life Health
