Overview

Virtual Social Media Specialist to work about 8-16 hour a week to do the following listed below. The main purpose of this position is to help me build my business as an executive coach; to get more clients; create JVs (Joint Venture Partners); market my bestselling book that just came out the end of last year (Leadership’s Perfect Storm); get more paid/non-paid speaking engagements; build my following.

LINKEDIN

·         Must know the ins and outs of LinkedIn; be creative in their approach; know how to use its offerings to the fullest; understand that the overall purpose is using LinkedIn is to find creative methods to generate more business, Joint Venture Partners, paid speaking engagements, etc.

o   Know my business thoroughly by reviewing my website; reading my book which is the heart of the way I do executive coaching.

o   Set up notifications of anyone or any company I’m connected to so when they talk about areas that are my niche (leadership, millennials, etc.), you will be notified; then write to them and see about setting up times for me to have conversations with them so I can see if they’d be a good potential client or JVs or ????.

o   Read articles on Linked In or keeping tabs on companies that would be a good fit for me as a client or JV. Then let me know so we can reach out to them.

o   Know how to utilize the app “Dux Soup” to find leads and engage with prospects.

o   See who continues to look at my LinkedIn profile and notice if they may be someone to start a conversation with as a potential client or JV.

o   Set up an automated process for my target audience where I look at people’s profile that I’m interested in connecting with as potential client or JV. See if they then come to look at my LI profile. Then send them a message to start a conversation.

o   Use “Meet Edgar” and cue and batch social media: videos, blog post, inspirational quotes, press, media, etc. I’m not going to put a huge emphasis on this. We can take excerpts from my book; there are times when I speak at conferences that you can post, etc.

o   Know how to post photos so they creatively look good. Sometimes I do collages of photos but need to make sure there are not too many photos and that all photos are seen in the post. Size of photo or collages matter!

o   Good at writing short blurbs for photo or photo collage posted.

o   Recycle things we’ve done before

MANAGE LINKEDIN REQUESTS

§  See if they are a good person to be a part of my tribe. Should I connect with them?

§  See if they could be potential clients or JVs

§  Good at written communication with people to respond back to them

§  Getting their email address and putting the email in my ACT database

§  Seeing if we should contact them further to explore a business relationship or just add them to my community.

o   Be able to use the database ACT – not hard to learn so if you’re a bit tech savvy, it’s simple. You’d create a contact sheet for the LinkedIn person with their email address, etc.

o   Looking at NOTIFICATIONS and using them to wish people a “Happy Birthday” or “Happy Anniversary.” Personalizing the message by using information from my ACT database which has them as a contact.

FACEBOOK MANAGEMENT

o   Build my Facebook following with people who are of my tribe.

§  Take my LI connections and find on FB and send request to connect.

§  Take my ACT database and find on LI and send request to connect – personalize it with info on their contact page.

§  Take my ACT database and find on FB and send request to connect.

o   Deal with Friend Requests, Messages and Notifications

o   Post when I have something to post
