The role of writer/content creator focuses on writing, editing, and giving creative input on a variety of content creation areas. Responsibilities include:
Write and Edit Content – Compose compelling book drafts, course scripts, e-mail copy, instructional content copy, and other content in keeping with our established storytelling structure and the needs of the project. Review and edit the writing of others for style and grammar.
Interview and Ideate – Investigate content topics, conduct interviews, extract key insights, and invent creative angles consistent with our proven process.

Although located northeast of Atlanta, GA, the work environment is a virtual workplace with occasional in-person meetings (if applicable).

QualificationsDemonstrated expertise as a writer and an excellent grasp of the nuances and grammar of the English written language. Excellent written and verbal communicator, able to interact well with other team members and with our StoryPartners (clients). Self-starting and disciplined in work habits with little supervision. Eager to learn and grow, able to accept and give constructive feedback, and work collaboratively with a team. Think creatively and communicate new ideas well. Accomplish tasks on time and communicate proactively. Familiarity with Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat. Basic WordPress website management skills are a plus. Must be able to work within the team’s task management system. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. English, History, Writing, or similar writing-focused degree(s) a plus. Experience: Preferred minimum 2 years experience in publishing, writing, education, communication, or marketing fields that include a writing focus. Adult education experience is a plus. Must be comfortable working from a distance as part of a virtual team.
