Overview

A small but growing website strategy and marketing firm based in Bethesda, Maryland, seeks a PT Marketing Project Manager to join our team and help keep our organization running smoothly.

This position is a part-time, independent contractor position, with an estimated weekly time commitment of 5 to 10 hours.

For the right, self-motivated candidate, this position could be done virtually anywhere in the United States. While work time is flexible, the position is required to be regularly available for meetings and to conduct work during standard Eastern work hours.

Responsibilities – External

  • Schedule, plan and lead client and internal marketing meetings
  • Manage monthly client retainer work and project-based initiatives
  • Brainstorm marketing and audience acquisition strategies with team
  • Oversee project management system, track, and “nudge” team on the schedule and deliverables for marketing client work
  • Communicate with clients regarding schedules, deliverables, and project-related details
  • Facilitate the creation of social and blog graphics with outsourced contractors
  • Participate in the creation of social media content and graphics

Responsibilities – Internal

  • Schedule, plan, and run weekly internal team meetings
  • Assist in content planning and creation for internal marketing purposes
  • Plan and assist with educational and promotional webinars and post webinar promotional materials
  • Submit help desk requests to ticketing system
  • Assist in the formatting & design of communications in internal CRM system (HubSpot).
  • Other marketing and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Publish completed marketing materials (such as blog posts and case studies) on content management system (WordPress)

Qualifications

* Experience with direct client communication * Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects and overseeing input from other team members * Strong organizational skills * Strong marketing experience * Social media savvy and experience promoting brands using social media (extra credit if the brand was B2B) * Experience with the following tools: WordPress and/or other online CRM systems Google docs Google Analytics AirTable (or other project management tool) A great (and somewhat snarky) sense of humor
