JOB DESCRIPTION:

Remote COO is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Manager to provide digital marketing to Remote COO and its multiple clients. Our clients are forward-thinking business owners who have handed their daily operations and back-office support over to us. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing tactical marketing efforts.  You will also be responsible for overseeing all facets of marketing for Remote COO. This position requires you to serve as the client’s indispensable partner and function as part of their team and ours. There will be various tasks and projects that require you to work at the highest-level quality with integrity. It is important that you represent Remote COO in a positive and professional manner while always exemplifying our core values and mission.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Manage marketing team to implement marketing strategies for Remote COO and on behalf of our clients

·         Manage marketing and promotional projects

·         Direct and execute the client’s social media strategy

·         Provide trend information and current market insight into client category / industry

·         Develop and execute core content and communications initiatives – including but not limited to email, social, website updates, collateral copy, etc.

·         Support core marketing plan efforts – campaign coordination, print/digital content production

·         Basic performance metric reporting and troubleshooting

·         Coordinate marketing strategies across multiple channels

·         Create promotional messages and themes to drive business

·         Complete basic WordPress site changes, design, and updates

·         Create structure, workflow and processes

·         Provide continuous, clear communication about status, needs and questions

 

EXAMPLES OF TYPICAL TASKS:

·         Manage process of creating, organizing, and posting digital content making use of scheduling tools, content management systems and/or marketing automation tools

·         Provide compelling copy for social media posts, blogs, and ads

·         Engage on social media to increase traffic

·         Source content for social media posts

·         Run analytics for social media, review and improve areas that are underperforming

·         Build email campaigns

·         Assess digital marketing trends and implement as appropriate

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·         3+ years professional work experience as a marketing manager, social media manager

·         Project Management experience

·         Prefer previous experience managing a team

·         Some college is desired

·         Available to work Monday – Friday during standard business hours

·         Able to commit for a minimum of 1 year

·         Must be able to work 20-25 hours per week; part-time employment position

·         Able to pass background and reference checks

Qualifications

SKILLS: • Excellent understanding of business marketing strategy and trends • Knowledge of analytics and SEO • Social media prowess and expert use of all social media platforms • Proficient use or experience with CRM Systems and/or email marketing platforms (ie. Hubspot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact); experience with Hubspot is highly preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Self-starter with strong organizational skills in order to develop processes to organize projects, meet deadlines and report status on each project • Capable of managing time effectively and efficiently with little to no oversight • Understanding of planning and strategy • Ability to develop, implement, and review procedures • Ability to address problems and opportunities for the clients • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
