JOB TITLE:

Marketing Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Remote COO is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to provide digital marketing support to the Marketing Manager and multiple Remote COO clients. Our clients are forward-thinking business owners who have handed their daily operations and back-office support over to us. You will be responsible for implementing and executing marketing support services. There will be various tasks and projects that require you to work at the highest-level quality with integrity. It is important that you represent Remote COO in a positive and professional manner while always exemplifying our core values and mission.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generate social media content in alignment with Company and client branding and voice
Schedule social media posts with relevant platform messaging and graphics at optimal times for audience engagement
Monitor and facilitate engagement on social media channels
Track key performance indicators (KPI) and assist with monthly reporting
Assist with maintaining overall efficiency of Remote COO marketing processes

EXAMPLES OF TYPICAL TASKS:

Generate social media posts by writing copy and generating graphics on Canva
Engage with key prospects and clients on their social media channels
Assist in collating KPI data and formatting into monthly report
Draft blog post content
Schedule and maintain marketing tasks in project management software

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years professional work experience in business and/or marketing support
Some college is desired
Available to work Monday – Friday during standard business hours
Able to commit for a minimum of 1 year
Must be able to work 8-15 hours per week; part-time employment position
Able to pass background and reference checks

Printer / scanner (optional but recommended)

Qualifications

SKILLS: Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-starter with strong organizational skills in order to develop processes to organize projects, meet deadlines and report status on each project Capable of managing time effectively and efficiently with little to no oversight Understanding of planning and strategy Ability to develop, implement and review procedures Ability to address problems and opportunities for the clients Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Experience with CRM System and/or email marketing platforms (ie. Hubspot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus Familiarity with WordPress is welcomed
