Position Overview:

As a Learning Design Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing e-learning courses that inspire, educate, and drive positive change. You will design courses using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all learners. This role is ideal for a passionate educator with experience in curriculum development and a genuine commitment to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop e-learning courses that align with our mission to end exploitation and trafficking.
Create engaging storyboards, interactive content, and clear learning objectives.
Utilize Articulate 360 to develop and enhance course content. Implement Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to research and integrate the latest trends in online exploitation prevention, human trafficking awareness, and workplace violence education.
Develop curricula that resonate with both public and private sector audiences, ensuring the content is both impactful and actionable.
Participate in the continuous improvement of our learning programs, contributing innovative ideas to enhance learner engagement.
Provide Quality Control to our tech and implementation team

Qualifications

A teaching background, preferably with experience in middle school or high school education. Strong knowledge of storyboarding, curriculum development, and learning objectives. Proficiency with Articulate 360 and experience in e-learning course development. Familiarity with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and a commitment to creating accessible, engaging content. Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable and engaging way.
