RESPONSIBILITIES

– Regular client interfacing via email, phone, and Zoom

– Data Entry with the ability to create needed bank rules for recurring expenses

– Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation account via Quickbooks Online and Xero

– Monthly reporting with a firm understanding of Cash vs. Accrual Accounting: Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll Processing

– 1099 preparation

– Processing payroll as well as the ability to reconcile payroll quarterly

– Support with Bill Pay and invoicing as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
– Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, required
– Proficient knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles (GAAP)
– Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
– Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary Quickbooks and Xero software
– Proficiency in English, MS Office, and cloud-based platforms (i.e. Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
– High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
– BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, preferred
– Xero and/or QBO certified, preferred
– Must be willing to participate in annual background checks
– Must be able to provide 3 professional references relevant to bookkeeping experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
– 1099 contractor position, hourly
– Hourly rate is $30
– 100% Remote position
