Overview

We are looking to contract with an Association Coordinator to assist the contract Association Manager in providing excellent member support. The Association Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of association management, including executing and preparing for Committee meetings, executing and preparing for in-person meetings and virtual programming, marketing the Network through its website and social media properties, updating member records, and more. The ideal contractor will be comfortable working in a remote environment, will be able to work independently with little supervision and, ideally, will have familiarity with the management of associations. He/she/they must also be able to work well under pressure and handle member inquiries/issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand NNSC’s vision and objectives and help to develop and implement strategies in alignment with these goals.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Association Manager.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of bi-annual membership meetings.
  • Facilitate the work of six committees, including meeting notices, agenda preparation, and minute management.
  • Represent the Network at in-person/virtual events and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We plan to contract for up to 20 hours per month at a monthly rate of approximately $600. Please submit a resume and cover letter by email.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a nonprofit or business environment • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and LinkedIn with aptitude to learn new software and systems • Experience in the association management sector preferred • Experience with membership management software providers such as Wild Apricot preferred
