We are a fast-growing media company in the craft and DIY space based out of the U.S. We currently own numerous blogs and are looking to hire someone on an on-going and full-time basis to assist us with managing our online affiliate program.

You’re someone who:

Must be EXTREMELY organized and have at least 2 year experience coordinating and managing projects.

Key responsibilities – some of the tasks you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and managing promotional calendar for product promotion to our existing lists – both dedicated promotions and ad inserts in the newsletters
  • Coordinating with in house copywriter and graphics team to ensure email promotions are created
  • Scheduling emails inside of Convert Kit – our email autoresponder
  • Recording and reporting results of promotional activities from our internal newsletter.
  • Working with our sales team to project manage new funnel creations for existing product assets to ensure a pipeline of available promotions
  • Conduct outreach to new publishing personalities & project manage existing product development
  • Analyzing email and sales results to help inform decision making for future promotions
  • Ensure proper tracking of promotions
  • Set marketing and sales goals to achieve revenue growth both with internal newsletter and affiliate revenue.
  • Conducting warm and cold emails and calls to help develop new affiliate relationships with bloggers and influencers within the craft space
  • Working closely with affiliates and monitoring existing accounts to optimize and increase revenue
  • Communicate with new and existing affiliates regarding upcoming promotions and optimization opportunities.
  • Construct affiliate contests to incentive promotions for upcoming events
  • Implement affiliate marketing activity including email campaigns, newsletters, blog, etc to increase revenue targets.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase revenue targets.
  • Develop business strategies to improve affiliate programs. Stay current with trends in affiliate marketing and identify new opportunities.
  • Representing the company at industry-related conferences and trade shows

 

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of project management experience – strong project management background is required
  • Two (2) years of experience in a management role
  • Experience in marketing, communications, advertising, or business
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel & Google Docs
  • Self-starter and comfortable working in a team environment
  • Strong customer service, recruitment and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and build client relationships
