Overview

We are searching for a Sales Representative | Commission Based go-getter for a hospitality consulting company representing companies that offer innovative products and services for hotels. Hundreds of leads are provided.  This position will produce qualified referrals and sales for our clients.

You will be responsible for engaging with hospitality management company executives and property owners to generate genuine interest and business for our base of clients through phone and video contact as well as through email campaigns.  You will be responsible for updating clients lists and tracking sales progress. This is a commission-only,1099 position with generous income potential.  Candidate must be able to dedicate 20 hours per week with the capacity to work full time 40 hours per week within a few months.

An effective Sales Representative must be an excellent communicator with superior people skills. This individual must enjoy and be comfortable with persistence in presenting products. All email scripts, collateral and phone guidelines/talking points will be provided.

Responsibilities

-Proactive outreach to prospects informing them about a product or service
-Obtain strong interest in product or service to facilitate a meeting (phone call) between hospitality prospect and a client company
-Ask prospects probing questions to understand customer requirements and close sales / gain referral business
-Direct prospects to the Managing Principal when needed
-Enter and update customer information in the CRM database
-Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
-Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
-Keep accurate records of calls and sales to identify useful information

Requirements

-Proven experience in a tele-sales or sales representative role
-Strong track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
-Advanced knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software, Google Docs)
-Ability to learn about a variety of products and services in company meetings and describe/explain products and services to prospects
-Excellent knowledge of English language, bi-lingual is a plus
-A vibrant personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Cool-tempered and resilient with the ability to handling rejection
-High school diploma; BS/BA degree is a plus
