Overview

Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills needed for managing patient intake and assessment of insurance plan benefits. You must be quick on your feet (to learn) and able to multi-task. Job requires solid administrative skills (email correspondence, use of google docs and sheets) with a focus on analyzing insurance coverage for birth. Training will be required, but a plus if you have dealt with insurance companies before. Job entails communicating coverage/costs to potential patients, ensuring those signing on for care are added to authorizations lists properly to be set up on time to secure coverage. Must have a desire to advocate for women receiving maternity care to have coverage, and the motivation to get this accomplished with multiple steps in the process! Position starts part-time with the potential to become full-time/salary if a good fit! Must be interested in helping advocate for women to have coverage for birth.
