We are a media company that is based in northern Virginia. We’ve been in business for a number of years and yes, we are a real, legitimate business.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We want someone who has these qualities (most important first):
– Love checklists and working in a structured environment
– Excellent attention to detail
– Tech-comfortable (would be able to navigate Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, MS Word, WordPress fairly easily, even if they haven’t used those tools before)
– First language is English
– Based in U.S. or Canada
We need a general admin / office support someone, so someone who can help to manage the inbox, make sure reports get created and sent, and coordinating back-and-forth with some of our customers. There will be additional tasks, but this should give an idea as to what should be done.
We want to be organized here: so checklists, organization, attention to detail are very important for this position.
Finally and most importantly, training will be provided. Sometimes some tasks may sound daunting and that’s ok. We will work through together to create a process, will document it, and then make the task much easier in the future.
WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY?
First and foremost, this position is flexible and can be done remotely. You can work virtually from anywhere you want to go (with a good internet connection). This position is going to be very flexible and understanding around your schedule.
In addition, you will be helping to build an organized, systemized business. One of the big advantages of this is that this business will be fairly predictable, thus LOW-STRESS. We are just starting so we are looking for someone to help us get organized.
We’d like to find someone as soon as possible and we’d like to start with a 30-day trial, and that we’ll start with 5-10 hours per week (with possibility of going up).
The hourly pay is $15/hr, paid weekly, during the 30 day trial. After the trial, then we can increase the hourly rate and move to a more regular payment schedule.
