Dear Rebecca,

I am writing to express my interest in the advertised Virtual Assistant position at Rebecca Michi- Children’s Sleep Consultant. Having over 10 years of experience working in wholesale sales and customer service, I feel that I possess the knowledge of the customer service world, the multi-tasking and communication skills that will enable me to succeed in this position. As a self-starter and highly motivated team player, I know that my dedication and enthusiasm will bring value to this role.

My experience started as a sales assistant and customer service role but then I had 7 years of sales management experience in the apparel and home fragrance industry. I have most recently been home caring for my son since he was born last September. I did some temporary virtual assistant work for my previous employer, NEST Fragrances, during my time at home. I got excited when I saw this role posted because I am in the thick of trying to sleep train my 17 month old son ☺.

I have had a great deal of experience in my sales roles calling customers and emailing customers, helping to solve problems, etc. I am an extremely organized person, both in work and home life. I excel in administrative tasks and completing a to do list in a timely manner. Having been in sales and managing my own accounts without assistant help, I understand the importance of every small and large task. I understand updating the member website, Facebook page and list of contacts is extremely important to the organization of your company but also the work flow of the business.

I am especially interested in working with your sleep consulting company. I would like to become a member myself but would also love being able to be a part of a business that I am experiencing in my daily life as well. I have a sense of humor and an acute attention to detail. I would look forward to using my experience and skills to meet your expectations and work the hours you need to help organize this next phase in your business.
