To Whom it May Concern: – Hire My Mom

To Whom it May Concern:

For the past several years I have been a stay home mom. As you know, taking care of household and family needs is a demanding and challenging day to day job. However, my kids are now getting older and I am ready to find a more secure and steady job.
Prior to starting a family, I worked as an Interior Designer for two prestigious Architectural Firms. With the changing needs of my family, substituting at my kids’ schools has provided a great opportunity to get adjusted to being back into the work force. Recently I also started working on my own as a design consultant helping friends and family with design and organizational needs in their homes.
As a single mom, I am seeking a job that will give me the flexibility to work full time as well as still take care of my families’ needs. I look forward to hearing from you about any opportunities that are the right fit for me with your company.

I’m an author, blogger, certified professional coach and painter who has supported myself over the years in various administrative positions. Currently, I am creating an online Love and Relationship coaching business and am seeking part time work while my fledgling company acquires some legs.

Thank you for your consideration.

I’m writing to apply for the position within your company you have listed on Hire My Mom. I am confident that my skills are well-aligned with the role, and that I would be an excellent fit for your organization.

I have learned and accomplished a great deal in my 12+ years of administrative roles/experiences. One of my proudest moments to date occurred while I was the Readiness Officer in the Army stationed at Fort Knox, KY. In this capacity, I was responsible for developing and implementing a tracking system for over 12,000 soldiers in an excel database. It was an exceptional honor to be able to develop that program and operating procedure that they are still using to this date.

I believe my experiences and track record make me an excellent fit for this opportunity. I have enclosed my resume for your convenience to discuss my background as well as the requirements for the role.

Thank you for your consideration,

Samantha Zimmerman

I would love to write and take photos for your five recipes using the box grater (I own and use one frequently). I do have much experience writing Web content – both keyword optimized and not – and also blogs. While I don’t usually take my own photos in the blogs, I did have my own eBay company for ten years and took many photos for that, with the understanding of what type of photo and what angle attracted the most customers. Please feel free to take a look at my resume. If you need writing samples I would be happy to provide them.

Thank you,
Rachel L. MacAulay
