I am confident that my extensive experience of over 10 years in administrative, management, and customer service positions combined with my level of education would serve as a valuable asset to Spark! Organizing, LLC. I believe I would be a perfect fit for your part-time Bookkeeper position because of my unique experiences that have afforded me a number of valuable skills. I pride myself on great customer service, am very detail-oriented, and love to problem-solve. As detailed in my resume, I have held a number of positions where accounting was an integral part of the job. The timely and accurate completion of the bookkeeping functions associated with these positions was crucial to the success of each of the businesses I worked for. My passion for efficiency and overall customer satisfaction make me a wonderful candidate for Spark! Organizing, LLC.

My recent experience with accounting includes working for the State of Idaho processing transactions in a number of different statewide systems, monitoring balances in both the appropriation and cash accounts, and reconciling any discrepancies that may arise. While working for Real Property Management, I was responsible for entering transactions into Quickbooks and balancing the books at the end of each month. I performed similar tasks through a paper-based accounting system when I was the manager of the Shelley Anytime Fitness. My experience in both the private and public sectors has exposed me to a number of different accounting software suites as well as the differing methods of governmental and private sector bookkeeping.

When looking back at my last bookkeeping position I would have to say there a number of different things that I loved. I really enjoyed interacting with customers and helping to solve any issues that they had. Knowing that I was able to help these individuals gave me a great sense of satisfaction. Another aspect that I enjoyed was the reconciliation of payments and ensuring that the previous day’s transactions posted to the proper account. Overall, I would have to say that I enjoyed the diverse range of responsibilities and being able to apply my practical knowledge while also undertaking new challenges.
