Dear Ms. Krug,
Please accept this as my official application for your position of Web Design / Development that I saw posted on hiremymom.com. Prior to sending this application, I reviewed your website to learn more about your company and your mission and loved what I learned. Similar to your background, I have several years of experience working on, and with, large companies and brands. In the last two years, I made a career shift and decided to put that experience to use to help a medium sized company, Burgers’ Smokehouse, start to dig in and strategically market their brand and their story. Although it is still a work in progress, due to the size and history of the company, we have made big strides forward and have a solid plan to continue to achieve the long-term goals (including a further update to our website.)
To expand on my experience, I have an extensive background in go-to-market strategies, business development, product portfolio management, corporate communications and creating marketing campaigns. And in recent years have complimented that experience by becoming adept with social media marketing, direct mail marketing, e-mail marketing, re-marketing campaigns, paid search, SEO best practices and web site development.
I would really like to be a part of your team, on a part-time basis, to help carry out your vision of helping other small businesses navigate the internet and digital marketing world. If you believe my skill set would be an asset to your team, I would love to discuss with you further.
I look forward to hearing from you and thanks in advance for your consideration.
