Dear Tina,
For the past 17 years, I’ve worked full time as a content manager for an educational publishing company. I recently left that role to pursue a more flexible and part-time career that will better suit my family and personal needs. Given the fact that I absolutely love to research–and love shopping at Amazon even more–this position jumped out at me.

As you’ll see in my resume, I have a pretty diverse educational background with many years of office experience, including the use of Google Docs and SOP’s. I enjoy learning new things and have followed specs and guidelines for much of my career, so following an SOP is right up my alley.

In addition to research experience, I also have skills in writing, copy-editing, and proofreading, as well as general project management in a deadline-driven environment. I’m a proactive leader and I thrive on getting things done accurately and efficiently.

I’m very interested in learning more about this role. Aside from my professional interest, I think I would very much enjoy this work on a personal level. I see that the post says this is a part-time position, which works well for me, so I’d like to learn more about the expectations in terms of scheduling requirements and flexibility.
