RehnOvations – Administrative/Web Position
Dear Mr. Rehn,
Combining my extensive experience writing in various forms—and for audiences ranging in level of familiarity with the content’s subject matter—with my web savvy, strong communication skills and excitement for tackling large, complex projects, the position at RehnOvations would be a great fit for me. My solid experience in web content, with proven success in driving site traffic and increasing conversion, make me an excellent candidate for the development of your website.
As a Content Coordinator at Dick’s Sporting Goods, I have acquired experience with web content best practices in SEO, site navigation, page displays and product imagery. I am a prolific product content writer, producing copy that is search engine optimized, informative, and effective in customer conversion. I have not only mastered techniques that are proven to work, but have also taken initiative to test and develop new practices for improving customer engagement with products on the website. Most recently, I used market analysis and web analytics to develop an entirely new, successful on-model photography process. The implementation of this process involved partnership with several departments, and required me to secure support and funding from senior leadership. The result has been an optimized customer experience, as well as increased revenue and engagement with our private brands on the website.
My graduate study in the English Department at the University of Colorado afforded me the opportunity to hone my research, analysis and writing skills—both in an academic capacity, and as a newsletter writer for The Tudor, the Graduate Teacher Program’s newsletter. My research background would be an asset to the launching of steeplabtea.com. I am capable of swiftly becoming fluent in a field, which would enable me to quickly jump in and execute your project.
I am excited to learn more about your needs for the RehnOvations site. I look forward to hearing from you to discuss this project and position further.
