Good afternoon Arthur,
After reviewing the Researcher role, I am highly confident I would be a great fit for your team. I hold all of the qualifications and preferred skills listed within the job description. With a Masters in Business, I am very familiar with the traditional learning methods. I love the process of learning and believe that Redtails primary values align with my desire to exceed client expectations with quality work.
In my last corporate role, I was a Customer Service Supervisor for the Customer Service team for XPO Logistics, Inc in partnership with Boeing where we were responsible for ensuring supplier needs were met for 75+ domestic and international suppliers. Death by PowerPoint and Project were the name of the game. During this role, I also acted as the interim Customer Service Manager for the department for a four-month period. My primary responsibilities included managing a team of 13 people and continually tracking and reporting to upper management the status of ongoing projects. I used to joke that my unofficial title was “Professional Babysitter”. My daily role revolved around problem solving with both my team for their assigned suppliers and with upper management for my organization and Boeing. The bulk of my projects required manipulation of data available in order to show the information needed in a new view to decide on a strategic turn for the program.
My highest level of professional satisfaction is achieved when I see my clients happy knowing that my contribution was key to their progress. I love knowing that I was an essential building block for my client’s (& employer’s) success. Whether it involved collaboration with team members, other industry professionals, or extended research, I love the problem-solving process. Having worked in aerospace particular with contracts on a regular basis, I am also used to managing confidential information.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from your team.
