Pumpables – Hire My Mom

Good Morning,

I am applying for the position of Administrative Assistant for Pumpables. I have six years of Administrative Assistant experience for a financial advisor, a web development firm and office work for Midwestern Robotics. I enjoy the diversity presented at each location.

As a mother who breastfed all three of my children, I understand the rewards and challenges around breastfeeding/pumping. I bring that to the table experience as well as the ability to creatively collaborate content that would promote your brand.

I am a quick study and am not afraid of challenges. Detailed oriented and task driven, I take pride in completing assignments on time and with accuracy. I would love to have the opportunity to implement my knowledge and skills to Pumpables.

As a self-starter I have an complete in-home office. Allowing me to start as soon as possible. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Dear Maire Shanahan,
Pink Elephant. I would like to further discus your marketing assistant position. Five years ago when I had my first child, I decided to become a stay at home mother. Since then, I have had two more children and I’m blessed to still be at home with them. This position was of interest to me because I spent hours and hours with my breast pump. After working with a lactation consult extensively, I decided to exclusively pump with all three of my children. Currently, my children attend preschool a couple days a week, so I’m looking to work about 15 hours a week while they are away.
My previous work experiences include working at a pediatric hospital as a registered nurse, providing case management services for a nonprofit organization, and working as a store manager for a major retailer. I have not used any particular marketing software other than social networking, however with all the positions above, I was regularly praised for my ability to learn quickly.

Attached is my resume. I look forward to hearing from you.

Dear Hiring Manager,

Here’s to the pink elephant in the room! I came across your listing on Hiremymom.com. I am a mom to 3. I have breastfed all of my kids and worked full time with my first 2, so you can imagine I am extremely familiar and comfortable with breast pumps. It’s a love/hate relationship!

I am extremely detail oriented and results driven. I do not have any experience working with marketing software, but I am a quick learner. In my career, I have been closely involved with new product launches, advertising and other marketing pieces. Spending most of my career in the retail space (both as vendor/manufacturer and as retailer) I am very familiar with products and managing the product lifecycle as a whole. I am looking for an opportunity to continue to drive results in a fast paced, growing company.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope to have the chance to personally discuss how I could contribute to your brand. I know I would be a great asset given my background. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have about my resume.

Thank you for your consideration.

Best Regards,
Lindsey McCullough

I am interested in working on the breast pump user manual. I believe both my personal and professional experience make me the best candidate for this work.

I have eight years experience in journalism, which has helped hone the art of taking technical information and presenting it to the masses. Some articles have included recent research on bio-fuels at a land grant university and presenting the medical information on a lesser-known disease.

Furthermore, I am currently in the middle of my breastfeeding journey with my 10-month old daughter, so I am intimately aware of how breast pumps work. I also possess first-hand knowledge that a pumping mom may need to know.

I would love to discuss this opportunity with you at your earliest convenience.
