#PropterHoc – Hire My Mom

Hello David:
Being an experienced blogger and social media manager has taught me a great value. The value is simple things are often the most important. I value each and every second of my day and try to only spend it doing quality activities. It was through my online business that I learned this was the most important lesson I could ever learn in life.

I appreciate the personal feel that you gave your job listing! I felt like I’ve wrote parts of it in similar blog posts in the past. You see I’m a super tracker, literally if there is something to be tracked in the business world I’m tracking it. It’s very important to me as it was drilled into me from my coach in the very beginning of my business.

I love that you say we’re going to build the list together, I can tell you would be awesome to work with. So many tasks go into running a website and business on the front end and the back. From SEO, and Social Media to Accounting and customer emails. I have many experiences with all of these, and am a details worker. I love working with lists and on bigger tasks to really get things accomplished.

By the way my name is Amanda and I live in Pennsylvania {in the country}. I just love that I’m a VA and can work in my cozy home when the wind blows the snow over the doors or at night after everyone goes to bed in the summer. And well practically all day long when I want and need to.

I’m a wife of almost 11 years and a mom of one almost 5 year old. He’s a great kid and loves life as all kids do. He and the fact that my husband used to make over 100K every year and now doesn’t is what really drive it home for me.

I take pride in what I do, and look at my clients business as if they were my own. I come up with new ideas and help with old ones when I see I can. I really do love watching the people I’m working with and for grow and love their business.

Thanks so much for taking the time to explain what you have going on, and reading this letter. I hope you consider working with me as it sounds like you are a great person to make a working relationship with. I hope to hear back from you at your earliest convenience.

Amanda Long

PS. I hate drama too!

Hi Paul,

I am writing to express my interest in your Chief of Getting Stuff Done position. With my educational background, administrative assistant experience and just my passion in general, I am confident I will bring a resourceful, hardworking, and positive attitude to your business.
I actually enjoy tasks that include organizing, multitasking and even some investigative work. I am familiar with both Microsoft Office and Mac software, Dropbox, social media, and adapt quickly to new programs. In addition, I am reliable, flexible, detailed-oriented, and a quick learner.
I am currently in the process of finding a position that allows me to work from home. This transition is risky but I’m looking forward to the challenge. I welcome the chance to talk with you to discuss how my personality, experience, and skills would be beneficial for you. Thank you for your time and consideration. I can be reached anytime at 720-505-7319.
