Dear Nicole,
Earlier this year, I left my full-time position as an online content manager to pursue a more flexible, work from home role, that would better suit my family and personal needs. While I’ve managed a variety of freelance roles over the past few months, I’m looking for something a little more challenging and ongoing.

In my previous long-term role as a content manager, I gained many years of experience in writing and editing, as well as website management—all of which I feel would be a great fit for this role. Although, I have not created buyer’s guide content, I do have experience following style guides and am confident I can successfully meet those needs using the documentation and samples described. I’ve been a project manager myself and have worked with freelance contributors, so I know what it takes and what’s expected from those hired. I take pride in being an efficient self-starter, who is comfortable working remotely, and has the tools necessary to do so.

As you’ll see in my resume, I have a diverse educational background and thrive on variety and challenge in my work life. I’m proactive and like to get things done, but more importantly, I like to learn new things and be productive contributor, and it sounds like this role might be a great fit for my professional experience and personal needs.
