Dear Dr. Hall:
I’m responding to your job listing on Hire My Mom for a long-term copyeditor. I have 30 years’ experience as a professional writer and editor, with the past three focused on website copywriting, editing, and proofreading for one of San Diego’s top branding agencies. I have keen eye for detail, the discipline to meet deadlines, and I floss daily!
My hourly rate is $65, which covers substantive editing, minor rewriting, copyediting, and proofreading. I also maintain a style guide for each client to ensure consistency in ads, press releases, website copy, and any other customer-facing material.
