Hi Tami,
For the past 17 years, I’ve worked full time as a content manager for an educational publishing company. I recently left that role to pursue a more flexible and part-time career that will better suit my family and personal needs. Given the fact that I absolutely love internet research, and have a great deal of experience doing this type of work, this position jumped out at me.

As you’ll see in my resume, I have a pretty diverse educational background with many years of office experience, including research similar to the type of work you describe here. Some examples include contact information for authors and illustrators, text and photo permissions contact info, and industry, business, and organization research.

In addition I have skills in writing, copy-editing, and proofreading, as well as general project management in a deadline-driven environment. I’m a proactive leader and I thrive on getting things done accurately and efficiently.

I’m very interested in learning more about this role. Aside from my professional interest, I think I would very much enjoy this work on a personal level. I see that the post says this is a part-time position, which works well for me, so I’d like to learn more about the expectations in terms of scheduling requirements and flexibility.

Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon!
