Lisa T. Henthorn – Cover Letter

Thank you for the opportunity to apply for the position at your company. I was excited when stumbling upon your job posting on hiremymom.com. It’s clear that you seek a versatile candidate. I am confident that I have the necessary skills to successfully fulfill the current opening and certain to meet and exceed all expectations.

I am grateful for the time that I spent at Conn Appliances, Inc. In 2014 when first hired as a Real Estate/Construction Coordinator, I acted as the point of contact for our landlords, general contractors and vendors and was trusted to communicate with them due to my strict adherence to professionalism and confidentiality, as well as my legal expertise in contracts. In addition to those duties, I was in charge of all the clerical (executive reporting, scheduling, travel and expenses) and office managerial duties (office equipment and supplies, facilities, etc.) in the satellite office. Over time, the executives at the company helped me transition into a Real Estate Manager role, wherein I was granted mentoring and experience in lease negotiations, site evaluation, and developer/landlord communications.
As a paralegal and working in my most recent positions with Conn’s, I have been consistently praised for my ability to work under pressure, prioritizing and creatively resolving issues by my co-workers and management. Over the course of my career and volunteerism, I’ve developed a skill-set directly relevant to the role for which you are hiring. Overall, I have consistently demonstrated organizational skills, relationship building and a strong team work ethic.
After reviewing my resume, I hope you will agree that I am the candidate for which you have been searching. I look forward to elaborating on how my specific skills and abilities will benefit your organization. Please contact me at 281-650-4026 or via email at apropos2lisa@me.com to arrange for a convenient time for us to meet.
Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Respectfully,
Lisa T. Henthorn
