I just saw your ad on “Hire My Momâ€.
Why do I want to work for you?
I’ve worked for you before!
Well, not literally. But I have worked for at least one woman with your drive, and your need for a detailed oriented assistant to handle the details while she handled the “big picture†strategic issues. I would be happy to do the same for you.
Why am I the best candidate for the position?
I have the skills you specified, which is the base.
Beyond that, one of my “super powers†is the ability to both understand and create office systems that allow for an efficient business flow.
Although I follow instructions (I can do what I am told. I have found many people can’t.) I work well independently, and always try to find my own answers first before asking questions, when that is necessary and appropriate.
To be completely upfront, I have not supported an online business before. But I have both created and maintained websites. I know HTML, CSS, and WordPress.
At a previous employer, I was tasked with sending out 100K emails a month, so I understand, and can use, mass email systems.
I learn very quickly, and I am certain I can perform whatever tasks you might need.
From your ad, what you need are things I am good at, and that I enjoy.
I look forward to hearing from you.

P.S. You asked for a writing sample. I was editor of an online and print behavioral health newsletter. I will send along an article from that newsletter.
