Dear Sir or Madam,

As the hiring director for a successful organization, I know you are looking for a qualified member to add to your team. This person needs to be faithful, dedicated, empathetic and a successful business person as well as having excellent interpersonal skills.
When you review the attached resume, you will see my experience in communications and public relations, internal and external marketing, fundraising and special events are qualifications you would find valuable. I believe that my experience, organizational skills and willingness to learn and activate new ideas would be a benefit to your team. Teamwork and the planning/logistics of community relations, social media marketing, fundraising and special events/projects are not only my job, but also my hobbies. I thrive on helping to make things come together and am confident I would be an asset to your team. Please consider me for your open position.

I am blessed by having a wide mix of experiences. I have to give thanks to my first position out of college. By taking a newly-created position at Spring Hill College just out of school, I was able to help communicate the mission and build Alumni & Parent Programs throughout the country. My department of 3 also worked on building a strong, current parent foundation, Homecoming Weekend, Student Alumni Group and more. This completely changed my direction for graduate school in letting me see the many ways communications can be applied through one’s position. I hold a graduate degree in Integrated Marketing Communications Program from Emerson College in Boston, MA. While there, I worked on a number of IMC campaigns for non-profit and corporate clients in and around the city. The Jackson Zoo provided me with a variety of experiences from negotiating contracts to supervising staff and volunteers to creating and coordinating events to media buying. The National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana allowed me to make contacts statewide through driving development for the Foundation. Various duties back in Mobile and Baldwin Counties have given me a firm framework of the professional atmosphere as well as the connections needed to thrive here.

Again, I know you are looking for a qualified and knowledgeable person to complete your team and I realize that as you grow, positions may change with additions to job duties. I am from Mississippi and have grown up in the area but also have a more diverse view benefiting from working in a wide variety of locations and companies. You may contact me at the above address or phone number, should you have further questions. I would be interested in speaking with you at some point for a short informational interview and look forward to speaking with you at this time.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
