Job Moving Cover Letter
Dear Mr. May,
In April 2015, I was able to do what everyone told me was impossible. I temporarily relocated my family of four from Tucson, AZ to the suburbs of Munich, Germany, with only a few weeks notice.
Thanks to having multiple checklists and keeping a calm head, I was able to deal with the issues of our house (sign up with volunteer police), our pet (last-minute health certificate plus a 3 month trip to visit relatives in Oklahoma), and schools (pulled the children out), not to mention, that one problem of none of us having a passport (scheduling a visit to the Department of State’s regional passport center).
My name is Rachel Mosteller, and I would like to help you plan your move. I’m one of those crazy people who love to plan and research—which might have something to do with my previous career as a journalist. Most recently, I’ve owned an online party supply business, where I’ve helped many women plan their weddings or parties—just please don’t ask me my opinion if a color is blue or navy.
I’m organized and responsible, and I respect a deadline. I am comfortable speaking with people on the phone, and have no problem working on price comparisons for a project. As I’ve moved out of state several times myself, I understand how stressful the prospect can be, and would work hard to make the planning part as seamless as possible.
Please feel free to take a look at my resume. You can always reach me via email at RMosteller@gmail.com. I thank you in advance for your time, and look forward to hearing from you. Best of luck with your move to Georgia.
