Human Resources/Admin Assistant

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am intrigued by the prospect of contributing my experience in human resources, my passion for writing and organization, and my innovative ideas and skills to your company.

In my undergraduate and graduate studies at CSUF in American Studies, I was fortunate enough to work with several outstanding professors and sharpen my writing skills. Throughout my studies, I gained an appreciation for the concept of culture, and the in-depth look at cultural studies provided by these professors. I am impressed of the high standards and expectations set by your company, and would be honored to be a part of your team. I currently write a variety of articles on topics ranging from workplace issues to societal standards and expectations. My most recent articles can be found by following the links below.

In my professional career in human resources and acting as an administrative assistant to high level executives within the field, I have gained experience in employee relations, disciplinary action, excellent verbal and written communication skills, best practices for business success, performance evaluations, recruitment and selection, and working cooperatively with all levels of management, administrators in education, and personnel. I have over ten years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, and in all of my HR positions, I have acted as an assistant to the upper level management team (from vice president of sales to assistant superintendent of the school district to company owners). For the past two years, I’ve been working as an independent contractor HR Consultant for Peoplescape Consulting based in Southern California.

I have included my resume so that you can take a look at the possibilities that I might offer to your company. I look forward to hearing from you, and appreciate your consideration for this position.
