Faith Lyles Cover Letter
Dear Mr. Sims,
I am applying for your virtual assistant position. I have worked as an administrative professional for over 10 years. I started my career as a receptionist and quickly excelled to supporting top-level executives, due to hard work and my willingness to learn new skills. I also have several years of experience working virtually. Additionally, as noted on my resume, I have four years of basic accounting experience ((e.g., invoicing, managing payables, check writing, vendor management, posting payments, etc.) using a few different accounting software programs. This experience was gained through my willingness to assistant leadership in cutting costs of our small 10 member staff organization. As a result, we were able to reduce the expense of maintaining a fulltime accountant and come under budget, which included cutting other expenditures as well.
Lastly, I am very organized, timely in meeting deadlines, reliable, and take pride in the quality of my work. All of which is important when working as a virtual assistant, what I plan to bring to this role. Therefore, I believe I have the skills that you are looking for and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you for your consideration,
