Elizabeth Kramer HR Manager Cover Letter
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am submitting this letter and resume for consideration of the Human Resources Manager position with your firm that is posted on Hiremymom.com.
Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentrating in Organizational Behavior, from the School of Management at Boston University I began my career as an Office Manager. My concentration was on human resource tasks involved in the businesses I worked for, as well as various bookkeeping and administrative responsibilities.
Most recently I have taken time away from my career and have been able to volunteer as Treasurer for an international club’s local chapter. As treasurer I have continued to handle monetary transactions and budgets, while upholding the confidentiality and trust I maintained while working in the Human Resources field.
During my time as an Office Manager I was able to understand the human resources laws in two different states through studying various government websites, and contacting government agencies when necessary. I was involved in the full hiring process, from job posting through employee orientation and benefits training. As the Office Manager I was directly involved in keeping my employees informed of any changes that came about in policies and procedures, as well as keep any problematic employee situations controlled.
I believe my experience will make me the ideal candidate for Human Resources Manager with your organization. Thank you for your consideration, I look forward to hearing from you soon.
