I was excited to find your post seeking an editor with a passion for women’s issues. I’m a life coach and I write articles that help empower people and provide tools and tips to make practical changes. I have been supporting solopreneurs (yoga teacher, coaches) as a virtual assistant for several years and I’m excited for the possibility to find a writing position where I can use my talent and skills to support a socially conscious organization that’s making a difference in people’s lives.
As a virtual assistant for one-woman entrepreneurs, I have worn many hats; I’ve edited articles and newsletters, created and managed content for social media, managed a global online summit, and so much more. As I mentioned, I also write articles about self-empowerment for my website as well as other publications and I feel excited at the prospect of contributing my writing skills to an organization with a worthy cause.
I very much resonate with the work you do with empowering girls and women, since much of my life is also dedicated to self-empowerment and creating a more loving, just, and harmonious world. Aside from being a big sister mentor with Big Brothers & Big Sisters of NYC, I have not worked specifically for women’s issues before (though I’ve had the desire to do so) so I will be delighted for the opportunity to contribute to an organization with a cause that’s close to my heart.
Please feel free to peruse some of my writing on my website at iamblissyoga.com.
