Dear Josh,
“Jack of All Trades” is my favorite job description! As you’ll see in my resume, I have a pretty diverse educational and professional background. I love learning new tools and having variety in my work life. I have experience using GoogleDocs and certified training in the Microsoft Office Suite. I’ve also used a variety of online and web based management tools over the years, so I have no doubt I could get up to speed quickly on the tools you’ve outlined.

As a former content and project manager, I’m a team player with good problem solving and communication skills. I’m a proactive leader and I thrive on getting things done accurately and efficiently and I love to learn and help people.

I recently left a full-time career to pursue a more flexible, work-life balance. I’m very interested in learning more about this role. I see that this is a part-time position, which would be perfect for me, so I’d like to learn more about the hours expected, as well as the expectations in terms of scheduling and availability requirements.

I have a letter of recommendation from a former mentor and colleague at my previous job that I think clearly highlights my strengths as a jack of all trades, and I’d love to share it with you if you’re interested.
