Customer Service Representative – SCD Lifestyle

To whom it may concern,

I was excited to see the position for a Customer Service Representative at SCD Lifestyle. I’m going to explain why as briefly as possible, but the course of events happened over years of my life.

I am the mother of 5 beautiful children, my youngest son was diagnosed with Autism, and with this were other major medical issues such as seizures and Gastrointestinal issues. I began researching so much my doctors called me Dr. Google! I came across a book called “Breaking the Vicious Cycle” by Elaine Gottschall, it changed my life! Before I started my son on this diet he would suffer severe pain in his abdomen, crying for hours. Mainstream medicine did not know how to help him. It was heartbreaking. Starting him on this diet was the best thing I’ve ever done, he was 4 years old at the time, he is now 17 and healthy. My oldest daughter became sick with a bladder issue in college, the doctor put her on serious medication with numerous side effects. So, we decided to try the Paleo diet with her, and for 5 years now, she has no more bladder issues and doesn’t need the prescription! I personally am strictly Gluten Free and follow SCD and Paleo rules with everything I cook in this house. I’m a huge believer that processed food is a primary cause for so many immune disorders in this country.

As for my professional background, I have recently decided to leave the 9-5 in-office workforce and create a home business as a Virtual Assistant / Customer Service Representative. My background includes serving customers, clients, and patients in many different roles. I managed numerous state board accounts monitoring professionals with an addiction, oversaw the registration of emergency patients, resolved customer inquiries, and verified insurance coverage. I pride myself in having excellent customer service skills; I exhibit patience, respect, and compassion in all situations. Resolving difficult situations is not only a strength of mine, but something I truly find rewarding. I am computer/network savvy in multiple applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Power point, Social Media and Excel. I have a certification in Medical Transcription from Bucks County Community College.

I am confident that I would be a valuable addition to SCD Lifestyle and can only imagine how gratifying helping others to learn how food can heal could be! Feel free to call me at 267-221-7012 so that I may answer any questions you have and or discuss the position further. Thank you for your time, I look forward to learning more about this opportunity and hearing from you.
