Customer Service Inside Sales Account Management

Shirley Rogers joined the CEVA team in July 2000 where she functioned as a Customer
Service Rep, Domestic Inbound Specialist and Outbound Operations Specialist thru 2003.
In 2003, she left CEVA Logistics to go work for a new division of Con-way, specializing in
Air Freight Forwarding. Shirley worked with Con-way Air from 2003 to 2006 as a Solutions
Center Representative, quoting and helping to create the structure for their Quote Desk, in
Special Accounts and as a Business Development Coordinator where she developed an
account base in a 14 state territory. She returned to CEVA in September of 2006 working
Outbound Operations at night, Inside Sales, and the Atlanta Quote Desk developing and
growing domestic and international transactional business for Atlanta based accounts. In
January 2011, she was promoted to Customer Service Manager over the Tech Data
account. After a year and a half of effectively managing the account, in May 2012 she was
promoted to Outbound Operations Manager where she directed her team to provide cost
efficient and timely movement of over 95,000 shipments from the Atlanta market to cities
in the US, Canada and Mexico. In January 2014, she took on the role of Corporate
Account Manager of supply chain solutions – covering transportation and
warehouse/logistics solutions where she currently utilizes her 14 years of experience to
continue to build strong customer relationships by serving in a manner that provides an
elevated customer experience thru exceptional customer service and support, cost
efficiency and operations excellence. Her current desire is to transition into a work from
home role outside of the freight forwarding industry that will continue to address her desire
to build strong customer relationships, effectively grow a team that is driving toward
revenue generation goals, while improving overall processes and efficiencies.
