I am so pleased to have found this open position for a Travel Specialist. I found this posting to be a perfect match for me as I have many years of experience in customer service and administrative assistant duties. I am a very organized, multi-tasking and detailed orientated person who enjoys a fast past working environment. My professional career includes over 2 years working as an Administrative Assistant, over 2 years as Surgery Scheduler for multiple operating rooms, Medical Receptionist/Referral Specialist, several years working as a Certified Athletic Trainer, over 3 years of experience as a Direct Care Worker in Adult Foster Care homes, and over 5 years working in customer services/retail settings. I have a Bachelorâ€™s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Athletic Training, and a Masterâ€™s degree in Health Promotion and Wellness Management.
During my time working as an Administrative Assistant I completed such tasks as organizing the department directorâ€™s schedule, along with compelling and organizing the update process of policy and procedure manuals. As an Administrative Assistant I also organized all the planning meetings for a major construction project at the hospital. As a Surgery Scheduler I excelled at the details to make the daily operating schedule run smoothly and efficiently. As a Medical Receptionist I have gained the knowledge to work quickly and accurately in a clinic with over 40 physicians, as a Certified Athletic Trainer I have developed and researched the skills to compose and implement new emergency actions plans, policy and procedure manuals, concussion policies, and drug policies. I have experience with CPT coding and medical billing along with electronic medical records systems. I also have several years of experience with office equipment including multiline phones, fax, copiers, and computer software systems such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and several electronic medical record programs.
