SUBJECT: Application for Temporary Typist position

Dear Niema Broadnax:

I am writing in reply to your posting on HireMyMom.com looking for a temporary typist. My typing speed is around 90 WPM with 95% accuracy. I have been working in administration for over 25 years doing general administrative work, data entry, and technical editing. Re-typing a manuscript in the way you describe should be relatively simple work that I am certain can be done within one week.

Would you be able to tell me what version of Word you are working with? Are there any other concerns you may have that may affect successful and timely completion of this project? Are there technical terms or languages that I may not be familiar with that may pose a problem? Any information you can provide would be useful. I do not know whether it is applicable, but I do have a little background in music; I took piano for 12 years as a child and now sing in a barbershop chorus.
