RE: administrative / virtual assistant

Dear who it may concern:

I recently came across your open position for the administrative / virtual assistant within your company.

I am currently a stay at home mom and a college student who would love to have something part time to earn money while going to college and taking care of my family. I have recently worked for two law firms; the last one was as needed basis and the previous office was a full time job. I was in charge of running the whole office for a family law attorney who is now presiding as a judge. I was in charge of A/R, A/P, trial preparation, correspondence between the attorney and all clients, trial, as well as drafting documents, sitting within depositions taking note, and any additional duties he needed at the time.

I think I would be a good match for the job as I have done the duties listed as answering phones, handling general inquires and adminstrative work as a job in the past. I am very self motivated and also very detailed in order to ensure I do the best that I can do with any job.

I would welcome the opportunity to interview with your team and look forward to hearing from you in the near future. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

JoAnne Newcomb
