Dear Mr. De Fontaine,

I am very excited to apply for the position of Admin Assistant for many reasons. As you will see by my resume, I have invaluable experience in the financial industry and as an Administrative Assistant. Speaking colloquially, this is my bread and butter. I am good at it, I like doing it, and it’s a rewarding way to help people reach their goals.

As a client associate, I have been essential to my financial advisors in servicing client needs and helping with all aspects of the business. I’ve received the distinction of being named by Wells Fargo Advisors as a Premier Client Associate, since the awards inception in 2010. This award is for the top-rated client service team members. I’ve also served on the Client Associate Advisory Council as a point of contact over 7 branch offices, as an intermediary between the operations and client associates, helping to simplify processes, clarify procedures and make recommendations on all levels of operations.

While all of this sounds good, I’m sure you are wondering about my ability to work remotely, since I do not live in the local area of your offices. I’ve worked in an office building and have never worked from home in the financial industry. However, I have done some remote work as an adjunct instructor. Currently, one financial advisor that I support, does not even have a house in this state. He works out of 2 residences in MI and FL. So, while I may be sitting in an office, I completely understand the ins and outs of working directly with another person while not physically in the same location.

I am currently still employed full time, but have given my notice at my current position. My last day is scheduled for December 8th, as I wanted to give plenty of transition time. This can be adjusted as necessary. I feel as if I found your company at the right moment. I applied for a position awhile back and we corresponded back and forth. I remember thinking that I really enjoyed what you had to say and I recognized your name right away when I saw the current posting. I really believe I could excel at this position. I would truly enjoy the opportunity to discuss the details of the position and see if we are a mutually good fit.

Best regards,

Jaime Ellerbrock
