Cobra: Monthly Newsletter Assistance

To Brett:

I am writing to express my interest in helping you with the creation of your monthly newsletter. I have been actively seeking a position like the one described, and believe that my qualifications and skills will be a great match.

I began my professional career more than 20 years ago, culminating in my appointment as Associate Director of Graduate Admissions of Simmons College in Boston in 2005. I began working a part time schedule after the birth of my first child in 2007, dividing my work schedule between home and the office. In addition to my admission and student service responsibilities, I was the sole designer of marketing material for the office, creating newsletters, flyers, advertisements, tri-folds and brochures. I worked closely with the marketing department to ensure that all pieces were on brand, and followed the process from concept to publication.

I resigned from that position in December of 2016, and am currently searching for a position that offers a strong work/life balance.

Described by my previous director as knowledgeable, proactive, savvy and thorough, my ability to work autonomously allowed me to continue with the same projects and responsibilities I held when I worked a more traditional schedule.
