Carolyn Knees Cover Letter
Dear Hiring Manager,
I have reached a crossroads in my life, and I am ready to make a change. Returning to the office grind after the birth of my son in April 2015 has not been as fulfilling as I’d hoped. The job satisfaction I felt before has dwindled, and I need a change of scenery.
I am seeking a position where I can work from home on a flexible schedule. I believe that it is possible to be both an excellent mother and an excellent employee, as long as an environment is created where the two roles can coexist. I am capable of giving myself 100% to my work while I am working, as long as I have the opportunity to give myself 100% to my family as well.
My background is primarily in project management, linguistics and foreign languages, translation, and management of small teams of project coordinators. However, I am open to new areas where my skills in writing, editing, organization, and people/project management can be utilized.
Thank you in advance for considering me. I am excited to be embarking on a new adventure and setting my life on a better path.
