I started blogging in 2009 and moved from personal blogging to Internet Marketing about three years ago. Since that time I have been working as a digital marketer where I help small businesses with SEO, Social Media, Email Marketing and all aspects of digital marketing.
Writing for blogging and writing for school and educational are very different. For blogging, it is best to write in a more conversational tone for your audience and for search engines. It is also best to use a lot of white space, bullet points and numbers which helps break up space for your readers as most readers online scan.
However, it is also important to write in this manner as it signifies to search engines the most important points.
Before I started blogging, I wrote short stories for Readerâ€™s Digest Online, and took numerous short story courses, and I worked for a Senator whose background was in journalism. I wrote and researched most of his speeches and I was the one who correspondent with his constituents and the media.
