Dear Suzanne,
Earlier this year, I left my full-time position as an online content manager to pursue a more flexible, work from home role, that would better suit my family and personal needs. While I’ve managed a variety of freelance roles over the past few months, I’m looking for something a little more challenging.

In my previous long-term role as a content manager, I gained many years of research experience and I’m certified in the Microsoft Office Suite, so this project seems right up my alley. I was also a content strategist for an online business product, so I understand the different industries. I take pride in being an efficient self-starter, who is comfortable working remotely, and have the tools necessary to do so.

As you’ll see in my resume, I have a diverse educational background and thrive on variety and challenge in my work life. I’m proactive and like to get things done, but more importantly, I like to learn new things and be a productive contributor, and it sounds like this role might be a great fit for my professional experience and personal needs.
