BD Contractor Services Cover Letter
April 18, 2016
I saw your opening for an Administrative / Virtual Assistant at Hire My Mom, and after reading the job description, I knew I needed to speak to you. Thanks in advance for taking the time to learn a little more about me.
I spent the past 16 years in cable advertising sales. My region was Michigan to Colorado and I was the only presence. My support staff was in two different time zones, other than mine. So why do you care? I know how to communicate remotely and be a jack of all trades professionally. I am looking to apply my professional experience to continue growing businesses with my detail orientation, organization, prioritization and strategy. While my past titles focused on cable, I know my way around social media as a marketing tool, not just a hobby or entertainment. I don’t need to be micromanaged and I’m not afraid to ask for clarification when I need it. I know how to multitask and ensure nothing falls between the cracks. Plus I have researched clients and written more marketing presentations than I care to count.
On a personal level, I served as the general contractor for the renovation of our house while working full time. After basically gutting our house I know the importance of time management and efficiency. Every delay is a dollar!
Please see the accompanying resume for details of my experience and education. I hope to hear from you at 312 919 0326 or firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss this opportunity in more detail. So let’s talk!
