I have had more than eight years of experience in administrative roles. I am well-versed in all the miscellaneous duties this job entails. I am extremely well organized and have a proven track record working with people from all walks of life.
I have recently been working as an administrative assistant for George Washington’s Mt. Vernon. I am currently helping with the 17th Annual Spirit of Mt. Vernon event being held on October 9, 2018. I am working with database entry; Microsoft Excel; invoicing; writing and editing for program and auction materials; and many other administrative jobs. The event will have about 600 corporate attendees as well as Members of Congress and other important guests. It stands to raise over $450,000 for Mt. Vernon educational programs.
Prior to this role, I was as preschool teacher and a professional volunteer at my children’s schools. I taught three and four-year-old children for almost eight years. I loved teaching and working with the elementary kids to help them have positive education experiences!
In my previous roles as an executive assistant, I handled all of the duties required for this position, and more, with great capability. I was frequently praised for my ability to handle complex tasks and solve problems without requesting input, but also maintain an awareness of when input may be desired. In short, as an executive assistant, I am efficient, attentive, and competent. Finally, I have all the skills necessary for the role

Dear Mr. Jeff Willet,

My name is Dana Clark and I am applying for the position of B2B appointment setting/Inside sales support with your company as advertised on hiremymom.com. After reading through the job description and requirements for this job I am thrilled to find that I would be an excellent match for this position.

At my current position with the nonprofit of the Iowa R.E.A.C.H. program as Director of Sponsorship, I am an integral part of the team to keep the program running for free to underprivileged children in the area. My position is in charge of finding, applying, meeting guidelines, and completing requirements before deadlines. With help from my team we have been able to keep our program free for 4 years serving over 75 children per year who are in need.

My temporary job during the tax season with Winkle, Parker & Foster as an administrative assistant with many responsibilities including, but definitely not limited to managing the appointment calendars of the people in the office, answering phones, responding to emails, filing, helping clients, and preparing tax returns to be e-filed by the appropriate person. As you can see both of these positions have given me what you require for your B2B appointment setter/inside sales support, but additional items I have from other personal experiences would be:

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple calendars, events, and scheduling conflicts from as many as 10 different directions at once
• Dealing with sensitive information, situations and topics with the confidence that the correct decisions are being made, enforced, and no outside discussions of said problem
• Quick learner who wants to know more about what is going on and coming up
• Organization is my serenity and extreme chaos needs to be vanquished
• Thinking outside the box to come up with the easiest, quickest, and most economical solution that will also be the easiest and quickest way to implement and hardest to fall to sloppy ways

My resume goes into more detail about additional duties that I have had over the years but does not include daily life skills that can only be acquired through life and living.
